We are pleased to confirm the release of Nick Drake's 'Fruit Tree' boxed set, (delayed slightly, after a series of production problems). The set is released in Europe on November 19th, and in the US on December4th in two editions, vinyl and CD.
Cally runs Bryter Music, the Nick Drake estate, on behalf of Nick's sister Gabrielle. He recently took the time to speak to Nickdrake.com's Matt Hutchinson about the estate and what's in store for fans over the next year or so.
Man In A Shed. Well there was a man. Lived in a shed. Spent most of his days out of his head. For his shed was rotten let in the rain. Said it was enough to drive any man insane. When it rained. He felt so bad. When it snowed he felt just simply sad.
Sandy rejoined Fairport Convention briefly in the mid ‘70s but without the success or critical acclaim of her earlier work with them. Sandy Denny died on April 24th 1978 from injuries sustained after a fall down a flight of stairs at her parents’ house in Cornwall.
