She’s been with the BBC for years working on Radio 1 in the 80/90s with her evening show and very popular Bruno and Liz weekend breakfast show.

Look at the playlist on her show and it is full of predictable stuff with no surprises which is not what 6 Music is all about. There maybe a few odd shows that aren't my cup of tea on the station but I see a point of them being on the station unlike Liz's show.

Mar 11, 2008 · Bruno and Liz were very very entertaining on Saturday and Sunday mornings on Radio One - that must be back in the late 80s/early 90s, wow. I'd also nominate Nick Abbot and Carol McGiffen when they double-headed Saturday afternoons on Talk Radio in the mid-1990s.
