Apr 1, 2013 · I think it’s adorable! I also love [name]Helena[/name] and the Scottish [name]Eilidh[/name] (AY-lee). I think [name]Elene[/name] (said like [name]Eleni[/name], I believe) and the French [name]Helene[/name] are both lovely, as well–I just prefer the spunky [name]Eleni[/name] and the literary [name]Helena[/name], personally. [name_f]Elle [/name_f] is an obvious one, but I do live your suggestion of [name_f]Lena [/name_f] best!
Nov 21, 2009 · I also love [name]Helena[/name] and am using it as a mn if this one is a girl (I’m not finding out). However, like the other poster, I am pronouncing it [name]Helen[/name]-ah. (DH says everyone will think it’s He-lay-nah, but as a mn, i don’t care).
