Sometime after that she married my g.g. grandfather William McGarry in Birr Co Offaly in 1901 and they stayed there until her death in 1944.

I previously said that after John Donnelly and Elizabeth Grant married at Birr in 1870, they had children in Belfast in the 1870s, after which they had children in the 1880s in Co. Offaly. Not wholly accurate, for the first child they had was a daughter Mary Ellen in Co. Offaly in 1871 and there are several points of note:
