It is housed in the former Gare d'Orsay, a Beaux-Arts railway station built between 1898 and 1900.
Coming to the museum. Free admission without reservation for visitors benefiting from free admission upon presentation of the corresponding receipt. Reservations are required on the first Sunday of the month, except for holders of a Carte blanche or a Paris Museum Pass.
