1 day ago · Iron pill suggestions. I am currently 24wks and just did my first glucose test this past Friday. Everything came out good (thank goodness ) . The only thing is I got diagnosed anemic which my doctor says its not unusual in pregnancy.
3 days ago · I totally understand and I think it is a strange requirement (ie the no food rule) - we have discussed it before on here and have also found out about the increased bio-availability with food (presumably food slows down its - Utrogestan's - transit through the bowel or something?).
Jul 2, 2024 · In regard to vitamin D, it can safely be taken on an empty stomach but a number of studies show that it is better absorbed if taken with a meal that contains at least some fat since it is a fat-soluble vitamin. It is unknown though whether or not this increase in absorption correlates to a clinical difference, over time, however.
