The times of the sessions are as follows (KS1 timings are in brackets): Morning session: 8.50am - (12:00pm) 12.20pm Afternoon session: (1:00pm) 1.10pm - 3.20pm
School holidays account for 13 weeks of the year and parents/carers are expected to arrange all family holidays or other events during these times. Only the Headteacher can authorise leave of absence during school term-time and it is only in very exceptional circumstances that leave of absence will be granted.

Dec 25, 2023 · Horsforth School – Term Dates. Opened in 1972 and located in Horsforth, it educates around 1,500 boys and girls, aged 11 to 18. It gained Special Science status in 2002. In 2012 75% of students received 5 A*-C GCSEs including English and Maths. Horsforth School also includes a post 16 centre.
