Jul 7, 2019 · Whenever I had to wipe and restart the playbook, it would hang at the update screen. The trick was to wait at the internet connection screen for a few minutes before advancing to the update screen. For some reason, the length of time to connect to the Wi-Fi took a long time (in the background).
Feb 7, 2016 · Hello, everyone. Just the other day i purchased a blackberry playbook with it's keyboard off my friend, and i reset the playbook (My friend told me everything was working before i bought it and i saw him use it before), it automatically deleted the saved Bluetooth paired devices.
Mar 15, 2016 · We are on holiday and my playbook couldn't find any wifi signal. I tried shutting down but since then it won't get past the splash screen. The next day the same thing happened with my husband's playbook. We can't use either one. We have tried the three button reset but nothing changes. Please help!
Dec 31, 2021 · Comparision to the modern Bluetooth speaker is "apple to orange", since PB is both the player and the speaker (s), of course. But I dare to say, that PB speakers sound as good (bad) as any modern Bluetooth speaker under $25. By the way, the recording quality is not bad.
The second one is an exclusive game for BlackBerry PlayBook that used to be free in the BlackBerry World app store, so no one made a .bar file for it. I’ve found the source files for it on GitHub and even managed to build a .bar file for it, but it can’t be installed on your device because a debug token is missing.
Apr 21, 2011 · tools. 79. Bigum1969. I took the plunge and picked one up. During setup, it hangs at the country/language setup portion. No matter what country/language I choose, it won't load the Blackberry ID. I found the problem posted on BB web site, but its fix doesn't work. (trying to configure the wifi as a hotspot)
Feb 9, 2012 · The workaround to get past the setup screens can take a few tries of back and forth. I've tried this on two installs and successful both times. My biggest problem was finding a way to sideload apps. The Google Chrome extension doesn't work anymore. When this Dev Alpha PlayBook is connected to the PC, it won't connect.
