Dec 26, 2014 · With the screen light on, it does show the lightning bolt while charging with the phone on. So something is amiss. I am now going to stop the charging while the phone is on, turn it off, and see if it actually will charge with no indicators on. I will try the hard reboot first and see what happens. The hard reboot did nothing.

The charger has always seemed a bit loose when plugged into the phone, I would have to position it just right or hold it in for a few seconds or the charge indicator would go off. I'm using the lead etc that came with the phone - gutted!

So, I began charging it immediately and after 2-3 hours I noticed that it hadn't turned on yet. I tried turning it on by holding the power button and that seem to work, the blackberry title appeared and then the loading symbol appeared.
