Feb 9, 2018 · I occasionally use an old Playbook for backup, but today I find my laptop refuses to connect due to. a security issue that Windows flags up (Playbook using a dated security protocol or something long those lines) :( . It used to work OK, even without use of Blackberry's Desktop Manager, but Fall update seems to have bricked.
2- Select BlackBerry Domain. 3- Click on Edit properties. 4- Select IT Policy. 5- Double click on IT Policy. 6- Select the corresponding IT policy or create a new one and click Properties. 7- Select Security. 8- Set the drop-down list “Reset to defaults to serial when erasing” in True. 9- Click on OK to apply the changes and exit.
