"Time in a Bottle" is a song by singer-songwriter Jim Croce. He wrote the lyrics after his wife Ingrid told him she was pregnant in December 1970. [2] It appeared on Croce's 1972 ABC debut album You Don't Mess Around with Jim and was featured in the 1973 ABC made-for-television movie She Lives!
So a "bottle" episode of a show is one where the characters are in a static environment and mostly just talk to each other. My favorite movies are The Royal Tenenbaums and Murder on the Orient Express (1974). These movies where a bunch of personalities are stuck in a house or a train or whatnot and have to hash it out. Suggestions?
