If I try to sign in with my account, the sign-in process just hangs and it never signs in. If I cancel, the sign in prompt pops up after about a minute or so.

Dec 6, 2021 · Not gonna lie. - I was scared of having to revert to Samsung duos as my secondary if the Blackberry got bricked. Fortunately, the reload was perfect. I was able to sign in to a newly created Blackberry ID but not my old BBID. (I wasn't able to sign-in to my old BBID, Something about migration to Amtek - read this in another post.)

Jul 7, 2012 · Please check your connection settings and try again. I know the wireless connection on the device is working fine because I am able to get email, twitter feeds, browse the web, etc. I have tried a reboot of the device and that did not help. When I connect it to my pc, the Desktop Software cannot do a backup because I can't get logged in to my ID.
Feb 1, 2017 · With help from IT, I wiped my phone in December 2016 and reinstalled the OS. After that reinstall, blackberry protect had been "disabled by my administrator" (on the server, not on my phone). I think, although not confirmed, that when the new OS update came along, it would have / should have turned off blackberry protect before updating.
