Jul 13, 2007 · Fix that worked for me (recovering from a 507 error): Disconnect phone from PC. Make sure USB cable is connected directly to PC (i.e., no USB HUB or docking station, etc.) Pull battery from phone. Connect phone to computer. Go through upgrade (or downgrade) process as usual - you know, the one that didn't work earlier and got you into this mess.
