Jun 8, 2022 · I have a Blackberry Classic Q20 - and originally, I'd set it up with my BB ID and it has protection enabled. Could not remember my device password as I hadn't used it in ages, so - deliberately put wrong password ten times and it factory reset - or so I thought.
1. On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen. 2. Tap. Settings > Security and Privacy > Security Wipe. 3. Do one of the following: • Tap Delete Data. Type the password for your BlackBerry ID. Tap Verify. • Type blackberry. Tap Delete Data. When the security wipe is completed, your device turns off automatically.
