On Ice On Fire. Single released in July 1985. Failed to chart. Elton hoped to duet with Tina Turner on this hard-rocking number. But she disliked the song's mood, inspired, ironically, by her cover of "The 1984 Song." Instead, Elton teamed up with Millie Jackson, who contributed an energetic, Turner-like performance. Various extended versions of the song appeared on dance releases.
