A snow map shows when and where snow showers could occur in Ireland over the next few days during a short and sharp cold spell. Temperatures will drop to -3 degrees in parts with rain, hail, sleet and snow for some parts in the latest forecast from Met Éireann.
Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Sligo, Galway, Mayo, Leitrim, and Roscommon will all be affected. The warning is in effect from 2am to 6pm on Thursday, February 8, 2024, for Cavan, Monaghan, and Connacht, while Donegal will experience the warning from 11am to 8pm on the same day.
