Mar 14, 2024 · Stockport County has outlined proposals to boost capacity at Edgeley Park by about 7,000 seats to host 18,000 fans.
This would be the first of the stands to be redeveloped, provisionally starting in summer 2023. The major investment into Edgeley Park also presents an opportunity to improve the environmental performance of the stadium and support Stockport and Greater Manchester’s carbon reduction targets.

Mar 14, 2024 · The football club yesterday launched the next phase of consultation on plans for a phased expansion of its historic Edgeley Park stadium, which – if approved – would look to increase the capacity from 10,852 up to c.18,000.
