St Giles Cripplegate is a medieval parish church in the heart of the Barbican development (City of London). Extensively restored after the Blitz, with the Grand organ and some furniture from St Luke's, Old Street.
View from high walkway east of Nettleton Court. The display cabinet in the south wall contains Cripplegate's historic treasures. On the bottom shelf is the Communion plate of St Luke's Church, used by John Wesley, who worshipped and took services there.
We are the ancient historic parish church for Barbican, Old Street and Moorgate, and we welcome everyone, whether to a carol service, a concert, or simply to come and sit here quietly in the course of the working day. The main service on Sundays is the Parish Eucharist at 10.00am.
