Michael Moriarty (born April 5, 1941) is an American-Canadian actor. He received an Emmy Award [1] and Golden Globe Award [2] for his role as a Nazi SS officer in the 1978 miniseries Holocaust and a Tony Award [3] in 1974 for his performance in the play Find Your Way Home.
He was born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1941. Moriarty was to move to London, England, where he built up a name as a great stage actor. It was also here he attended London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts as a Fullbright Scholar and as a student of Stella Adler.
