Location: BA Fine Art is situated in the College’s Granary Building. This location in King’s Cross is key, enabling students to engage in the changing dynamics of the area and build links with the local community as well as neighbouring institutions such as Wellcome Collection and the British Library.
The Fine Art BA is a non-modular programme. The practice-based element is themed around three areas: Fine Art Media, Painting and Sculpture. At the end of Term 1, you will select one area. You will initiate and develop your own programme of work with tutorial guidance and technical support.
Goldsmiths' BA Fine Art will develop your practice and hone your skills. Former Goldsmiths students have been nominated for the Turner Prize more than 30 times, and have won the Prize on 8 occasions.
