The University of Cumbria was established in 2007, bringing together Cumbria Institute of the Arts, St Martin’s College and the Cumbrian campuses of UCLAN. Today we operate from campuses in Carlisle, Lancaster, Ambleside and London, with a presence on the Cumbrian West Coast.
Although the University of Cumbria was only established in 2007, our history goes all the way back to 1882 thanks to our legacy institutions.
