MOONCHILD is a five-member girl group consists of successful candidates from the "iCON Z 〜Dreams For Children〜", a joint project by LDH JAPAN x HYBE LABELS JAPAN. They debuted from Sony Music on May 3, 2023 with the EP "DELICIOUS POISON".
The origin of their group name is an expression of one of their concepts, "Delicious Poison", which is as bewitching and ephemeral as the "moon", and whose shape changes daily. They are aiming to become a new girl group that brings together the elements of "Music", "Entertainment", and "Culture" to provide a variety of entertainment.
•On August 25, 2023, RUAN was announced to suspend her activities for a while due to her poor physical condition.
•On September 9, 2023, their new song "Friends Are For" was announced to be featured as the ending theme for the animation The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse on TBS. It will be released as their second EP on November 29.
