Jan 30, 2021 · At more than 350 years old, Theatre Royal Drury Lane is said to be the most haunted theatre on the planet. The venue’s most famous ghost is the Man in Grey, who appears during the day in a wig, grey cloak and three-pointed hat.

- Palace Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue, Cambridge Circus, W1D. The theatre opened in January 1891, and is famous for the JK Rowling play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
- Peacock Theatre, Portugal Street, WC2A. This haunted theatre opened as The Royalty in 1911, though the current building dates from 1960 and is owned by the London School of Economics.
- Theatre Royal Stratford East, Gerry Raffles Square, E15. Built in 1884 by actor-manager Charles Dillon, the theatre is haunted by Dillon’s brother-in-law and fellow thespian Frederick Fredericks, whose family later came to own the theatre.

- Lyceum Theatre Ghosts. In the 1880’s when Henry Irving and Ellen Terry dominated the stage of the Lyceum Theatre, one night a couple were sat in the balcony and saw the severed head of a man starring up at them from a lady’s lap in the stalls below.
- Aldephi Theatre Ghost. Jealousy is an evil beast and none more so than between actors. Actor-manager William Terris was enjoying a run of success in Secret Service, a play at the Adelphi Theatre in 1897.
- Garrick Theatre Ghosts. The Garrick Theatre is said to be haunted by the ghost of former manager Arthur Bourchier who reigned at the theatre in the early 1900’s.
