Jul 15, 2020 · Mind the Gap: Creating Digital Bridges to Community is a two-year international research project bringing together six European arts organisations to explore digital arts education and how educators can work effectively with diverse communities.
Mind the Gap: an international research project inspired by the creativity and resourcefulness of arts education professionals during the Covid-19 crisis. Digital technologies promise to increase participation, diversity and reach in arts education.
The project aims particularly at reducing the influence of gender roles on girls’ and boys’ choices in education, work and life by strengthening the capacity of professionals and other adults to identify and address gender stereotypes in education, including own unconscious bias.

The Mind the Gap project is carried out by civil society organisations from across the globe with the aim of increasing respect for human rights and achieving justice and remedy for individuals and communities whose lives and livelihoods have been adversely affected by multinational corporations.
To stop harmful strategies from being implemented, close identified governance gaps, and bring down other systemic barriers to justice, the Mind the Gap project consortium will advocate for effective policies and measures at the national and international level that ensure respect for human rights and the environment.
