    However please note that gpa alone is not enough. You need some EC's as well to show that you did not spend all day just studying at home. De Anza is not like where you come from. Finally a 4.0 is hard, but it is not impossible. Generally speaking though a 3.9 with EC's outweighs a 4.0 with no EC's.
