Oct 26, 2022 · Only the regular saver is capped. The other 2.75% that was offered and then withdrawn (the eSaver Limited Edition 1) doesn't have a cap (only on the amount in the account that paid interest). The new 2% account is the same, only at the lower rate. Cynergy Bank is still offering 2.75% to existing customers which is true easy access.

So, last week, with Sainsbury's Bank offering one of the better savings interest rates around (highlighted on MSE), I opened a Defined Access account. This week, I saw on MSE that the rate had increased from 3.76% to 4.01%. Great, I thought.
Feb 16, 2019 · Sainsbury's Bank is jointly owned by Sainsbury's and Bank of Scotland. It is BoS who operate the credit card and I never had any problems with the card or customer service, during the years that I was a customer. UPDATE: SAINSBURY'S BANK is now 100% owned by Sainsburys.

First problem was that their computer doesn't support that obscure web browser Google, but it didn't tell me that was the problem.
Apr 14, 2023 · Looking to ditch my low-interest-rate savings account with Virgin Bank, I opened a Sainsbury's savings account on Wednesday evening. I sent a £1 test payment to ensure everything was set up correctly. This £1 amount showed first thing on Thursday morning online in my Sainsburys savings account, great I thought - the money moved overnight.

May 13, 2022 · Some quick questions then: * would travelers more experienced than me recommend the Sainsbury's 'travel money card'? It's free to use except that 2% is charged for "loads and reloads into GBP purse". So presumably Sainsbury's want £2 from me for adding £100 to the card.

I have the same problem trying to log onto online baking. I have tried phoning them but after 30 minutes of waiting I have given up.
