Aug 2, 2017 · Third Star is a simple story, centered around James (Cumberbatch), a man in his late twenties who is dying of cancer. He tries to put on a brave face for his family, but ultimately he can’t stand the stasis he finds himself in—one where he is not quite living.
James and his three closest lifelong friends go on an ill-advised trip to the stunning coastal area of Barafundle Bay in West Wales. What follows is a touching and comical adventure dealing with friendship, heroism and love.
