   It's a long (~5000) page manual but it's worth it. A lot of those pages are solutions to practice questions. He explains things well, highlights sections that are worth focusing on and that can be skipped (at your own risk) etc.

   I find that malher explains very well, but the approx 4000 pages of the MAS manual seem extremely daunting. I won't have time to finish it. The ACTEX manual looks very nice and at 1000 pages or so it must present the material in a more compact way.

   • His manuals directly cover the types of problems on the tests. I used TIA at first for S, then started Mahler for a second pass and felt that the manual was much more comprehensive and explained things like the F test and SSE and SSR much more clearly. The ebook reader is the worst part.

   Are Mahler speakers good?

   • The design of the Mahlers with their slanted rake is compact versus other speakers in this category, however the sound they produce no matter the music is wonderful. Mine are the version 1.5 and are used for 2 channel music as well as home theater. The speakers have extended highs with excellent voicing in the mid-range.
