Not only is Simeon Halligan the director behind 2010’s Splintered and the forthcoming White Settlers but he’s also one of the main masterminds behind Grimmfest. This year Grimmfest has teamed up with the BFI to present a season of gothic films in some of the English north-west’s most atmospheric buildings.
