      • Surprisingly effective sci-fi horror thriller about alien abduction, Dark Skies is one of Blumhouse's better films, with some great performances and solid effects on its small budget. It falls just short of being great with a pretty pedestrian script, but it's still solid PG-13 horror, and one I would revisit a few times a year.
