Boarding at Sherborne. Sherborne offers a distinctive education in so many ways, but none more so than in our commitment to providing an all-boys, full-boarding experience. We are one of only a handful of schools in the UK to adopt this approach.
Sherborne School is a 13–18 boys public school and boarding school located beside Sherborne Abbey, in the parish of Sherborne, Dorset. The school has been in continuous operation on the same site for over 1,300 years.
Sherborne School is traditional boys boarding school with over 90% full boarders. The Dorset-based school is just a stone’s throw away from Sherborne Girls, a fine institution for girls. This is indeed one of the better schools in the country and admissions can be pretty competitive.
