Spoiler Alert for the movie and the anime! I finally got around to watching the live-action movie of The Promised Neverland last night. Below is my review. Please understand, this is just my opinion here. I actually thought it was really good. There were some changes.
I found the live action film to be surprisingly good. The only problems with it was it was somewhat rushed and the characters are aged up, but that’s basically it. The acting is solid.
Overall, this is definitely one of the better live action adaptations of a manga/anime. I wouldn't recommend it over reading the first arc of the manga or watching the first season of the anime, but if you're a fan of The Promised Neverland, you should certainly check it out!

Filming
Production took place in Japan, and the filming occurred in the Important Cultural Property of Japan. The Grace Field House was photographed by adding a set to Tenkyokaku in Inawashiro Town, Fukushima Prefecture, the scenes such as the forest around the house was taken in Nagano Prefecture, Chino, Fujimi and Ina.
Visuals
The 3DCG and VFX production visuals of the monsters and the backgrounds were made by the Japanese creative group "khaki", using Cinema 4D.
