  3. As far as The Playhouse is concerned, it is still a solid acting school with almost 100 years of history behind it. It's not quite the Mecca it once was in the days of Meisner working there, but it is still a solid school.

  4. Look at the curriculum of the studios and decide what kind of actor you want to be/what works for you. Of the ones you listed, IMO order: HB Studios, Neighborhood Playhouse, T. Schreiber, Esper, AADA, NYFA (if all else fail). Not sure if you want to dance, but there's better choices than NYCDA for that.
