  8. Review by Ryan McSwain ★★★½ 2. Inspired by Aleister Crowley’s 1923 novel, Moon Child follows an orphan with telekinesis. After his adoption by a science cult, he discovers he may be the prophesied god of an African tribe. The white savior thing is problematic, but the movie is pretty good.
