   Huyton is a great place to live with a young family, I can tell you from current experience. Unfortunately a lot of them comments on here are based on stereotypes, experience from decades ago or just pure spite. As with all places it depends, some areas aren't great.

   • There are far worse areas in Liverpool than the worst parts of Huyton tho Huyton is not really small and it really depends what area you're looking at. Some of the worst streets in Liverpool are in Huyton, some areas are pretty nice. It's not too far from Liverpool city centre and there are plenty of transport links.

   • As someone who grew up in Huyton, I have to back up what John says above. Huyton is a very large suburb and is actually quite mixed. Parts of it, such as between Huyton station and McGoldrick Park, around Roby and on Wheathills are actually quite calm and pleasant areas. Calling Huyton a horrible place is to concentrate on the worst areas only.
