   • "Begotten" takes a twisted and disturbing look on the origin of life. Demonstrating the self-destructive nature, violence, lust and greed that have become a trademark for mankind. The problem in the movie come from two points. One is that the film is just too slow in it's exhibition.

   • The very height of pointless abstraction and meandering pretension, "Begotten" shares nothing with its audience other than animosity. Dull, witless and utterly, utterly empty of anything redeeming, the film seems to be impressed with itself, simply for being unbearably different than a watchable movie. It's just not worth the time.
