Jan 24, 2022 · I know this is a kid’s movie but just take a chill pill. The only thing is that I don’t see why the girl had to be “pretty”. I mean, I would have liked the movie just as much if the main character liked an “unattractive” girl. But other than that great movie for the family. 5 stars!

Jump-starting the Nautilus with an electric eel. Vanessa Hudgens and Josh Hutcherson. “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” looks like nothing so much as one of those live-action adventures that Disney used to grind out in the 1950s — and hey, here’s Captain Nemo’s Nautilus to prove it.

Feb 10, 2012 · Best yet, the new movie seems even more family-friendly than the previous movie. Younger children will be more excited and thrilled than scared. There’s no intense violence in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, but there’s plenty of action and suspense, laced with some light, playful humor.
