Her self-titled fourth studio album Lisa Stansfield was released on 21 March 1997. It garnered favourable reviews from music critics, and was commercially successful, reaching number two in the United Kingdom, number six in Belgium, and peaked inside the top forty in many European countries and Japan.
Lisa Stansfield scored a UK Official Singles Chart Number 1 in 1989 with her song All Around The World, and her debut album Affection sold five million copies worldwide.
