Welcome to the Ratpocalypse! Farmer Mason knows he has a real pest problem when they start shooting back. Bloody hell!
Mason is a farmer who discovered rats in his barn. Upon investigating, he found that the rats have evolved and started to use primitive weapons. He calls for a pest extermination company who first explains that the rats are evolving due to the pressure humans are exerting on them, and tries to sell a "Fire and Forget" system of turrets to take care of the problem.
Upon installation, the first casualty is his cat Susan, and the salesman then adds a disclaimer that pets should be kept clear of the extermination zone. The turrets worked effectively for a time until the rats outsmart them and disabled their cameras.

Rats were mighty forgiving considering he brought the Robo-murder-scorpion to their barn in the first place. To be fair, the rats were the ones to invade Mason’s barns in the first place. At first it was fair combat between them but both sides acknowledged that the scorpion robot murderer took it too far.
