Nathan Greno (born March 22, 1975) is an American film director, story artist, and writer best known as the co-director of Walt Disney Animation Studios' film, Tangled (2010). Inspired by Disney films since the first grade, Greno started as a young boy writing and drawing comic books and strips. [ 2 ]
He started there as an animation clean-up artist on Mulan (1998). [2] Being creatively unfulfilled, he switched to story development. [2] He then contributed as a story artist on Brother Bear (2003), wrote a screenplay and worked as a story artist on Meet the Robinsons (2007), and supervised the story on Bolt (2008). [2]
Although Greno began his career at Disney as a clean-up animation artist, he quickly advanced to storyboarding for the feature Brother Bear (2003) and voice acting in the features Chicken Little (2005), Meet the Robinsons (2007), and Bolt (2008).

Greno devoted himself to discovering all there was to know about the art of animation. He continued to create his own characters, crudely animating them in the pages of his school textbooks. In 1989, a family trip to Walt Disney World gave him his first real glimpse of animators at work.

Mar 23, 2009 · I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin and the idea of working for Disney Animation was a big dream to have. I went to art school in Columbus, Ohio, spending every free second working on my portfolio for Disney. In 1996, I started with the Mouse as a "clean-up" artist on Mulan.
