   • Air China flights are currently around £1,500 cheaper than other airlines, but the reviews are terrible. Has anyone ever flown Air China and can tell me a bit about their experience? They're the flag carrier for China, how bad can it really be? For what it's worth, British Airways reviews are also terrible and I think they're a great airline!

   Is Air China worth it?

   • If you are not sure, just repeat and they will get it done. Overall, the value for money was 100% worthwhile, with airline ticket prices skyrocketing nowadays, if you are willing to sacrifice a fraction of convenience and you can live without the internet for a few hours, I would certainly recommend flying with Air China.

   How good is Air China customer service?

   • from flying air china on a regular basis, their customer service and other related services are alot more tailored to the chinese domestic market. If you try and engage with their customer service, it better be on a chinese travel booking website or a chinese app or else its a nightmare. The staffs are super rude and the WiFi network sucks.

   • We got our flights via flightcatchers.com, choosing Air China due to the significant savings of over £1000 compared to other airlines. Fingers crossed, everything goes smoothly for us.    I think Air China is fine. I fly twice a year to SEA and have used mainland Chinese carriers a number of times (Air China and China Eastern). On long Trans-Pacific flights most people are either sleeping or watching a movie.

   I would say Air China in regular economy is quite fine. Premium economy is a waste of money as it really isn't a big improvement over economy. They sacked everybody during Corona, so all of the employees are young and enthusiastic these days. Beijing is an easy enough airport to navigate.
