Sep 7, 2023 · I've recently opened a 1Yr fixed rate cash ISA with Shawbrook Bank and have this morning attempted to deposit my £20k ISA allowance.
With Shawbrook, you can make unlimited withdrawals (subjected to a minimum amount) without giving us any notice. You can also manage your account online, and deposit as much as you like (up to the account’s maximum balance).
You can deposit money into an ISA account, even if it's a fixed term bond that's been withdrawn. You can only deposit up to £20,000 in an ISA per tax year, although you can arrange to transfer ISA funds from previous allowances into your account, subject to the maximum deposit amount.
Aug 12, 2022 · Things to know about Shawbrook Bank:- Everything seems to run at snail's pace - don't expect to do anything quickly! Withdrawals (without using a secure message to customer services) are only possible via online banking if you have a nominated account setup.
Apr 20, 2022 · Shawbrook are an outlier , allowing deposits sometimes months after opening . From an older thread they even allowed deposits still at previous rates that were better than could be found in the market ( a period when rates were falling).
