Dec 3, 2021 · Both very good sixth form colleges though, we are lucky to have a choice. Loreto is obviously a lot bigger with approximately 1500 students compared to approximately 900 at Xaverian. My DS prefers Loreto from the open day and taster session but it would be much easier for him to get to Xaverian.

Although most of my friends are going to Loreto and when I went there, I loved the college out of most. Not sure which one to choose though as people from last year's year 11 (year before me) said they chose William Hulme because Loreto is too open and that you'll find idiots hanging around.
Aug 17, 2023 · THE class of 2023 at Loreto Sixth Form College is celebrating an impressive set of results. The Hulme-based college, which attracts students from across Tameside and Oldham, has reported that over 70 per cent of students have achieved at least one A* to B grade or more at A-Level.
Loreto College is a 16 Plus (Sixth Form), Co-Ed, Roman Catholic college located in Greater Manchester, North West. from age 16-99 yr. 92.10% of students completing their main study programme. This school rated Outstanding by recent Ofsted inspection. Headteacher/Principal Mr Michael Jaffrain.
