Spoilers for heart event reveal: He asks you to go get a gem for him to give to Emily, and then he asks you to give it to her for him and say it’s from him. Basically trying to make you do ALL the work and then make you tell Emily it was all Clint!
Clint and Emily are not soul mates. A lot of people pointed out that a lot of NPCs still hit on your partner/flirt with you after marriage, and that Clint gets singled out. I will say that there is a cutscene with Emily that can be seen without dating her, where Clint acknowledges you as "the victor".
Sep 25, 2018 · There might be a mod for it, but keep in mind that even if you never so much as talk to Emily, Clint will NEVER ask her out on a date. In one of Clint's cutscenes, his conversation is hijacked by Shane, because Shane treats Emily like a real person, and Clint is too busy putting her on a pedestal.
