She doesn’t know. In one of Clint’s heart events he asks her out (for a drink or something, maybe she didn’t interpret it as romantic) and she accepts. It doesn’t seem to go anywhere though, probably because Clint is a creepy incel and I can’t see Emily actually being into him.

Several dialogues and cutscenes reveal that Clint has romantic interest in Emily, though he is too shy to tell her. She will dance with Shane at the Flower Dance if neither of them are dancing with the player.

Mar 5, 2016 · Clint and Emily never get together, and Clint's attempted courtship ends when he asks her out. She accepts, and then there is no further development. Since Emily is planned as a marriage candidate for the player in the next update, it's highly unlikely that the two of them will ever end up together in the future.
