The London Theatre program offers two different tracks: Acting and Directing. Students may apply to either the Acting track or the Directing track. Students take acting classes, master classes, and workshops with leading artists from the British stage, complemented by individual tutorials with teachers.

BADA runs two semester-long courses, the London Theatre Program and the Shakespeare Program, for which students from American colleges can receive full academic credit, and two one-month summer programs, Midsummer in Oxford and the Midsummer Conservatory Program, which are open to all applicants.

Course overview. Participants will learn, and have ample opportunity to put into practice, the principles involved in bringing a play fully to life on stage. Issues explored will include: What is a play? Wherein lies a play’s meaning? What exactly should a director be directing? How do you identify the key turning point of any play or scene?
