Apr 30, 2023 · I'd recently read an article and seen that BT no longer offers email addresses to new customers or existing customers that never set up email addresses previously. It said existing email customers are unaffected for now but is this a prelude to BT eventually ceasing email services altogether?

Mar 26, 2024 · BT no longer offer email addresses to new BT Broadband customer. This option was withdrawn on 26 th October 2022. If you already have a BT email address you will be able to keep it but you will not be able to set up any more.
Mar 9, 2023 · Re: BT emails after you leave BT. They should still remain on your computer, but your mail client will no longer sync with the server to update. If your mail client has the ability to create offline folders, do so and move the mails to them to make doubly sure they won't be deleted.

Mar 29, 2023 · I can still access my email on my phone but not on my pc. My main email client with 25 years of email history has ground to a halt. Web access is not a practical solution and migration (without a domain) appears impossible.
