VF: If it weren’t for the Comics Code, would the Hulk’s pants have ripped off like his shirt? Stan Lee: I guess it probably would have. So occasionally the Code did some good things.
The only exception is his shirt texture, which has a blood splatter for when you cut his arm off. This gets mistakenly applied to ripped sleeve/both arm Lee however, so his shirt is covered in blood from an arm he still has. Clem has a few different dialogue lines in the first couple episodes of Season 2, at least if you cut it off.
