The Avengers are a team of super heroes in the Marvel Universe. Despite starting in its own corner of Earth-616, it expanded over time and has, since its creation, featured a large number of characters in a variety of combinations, with a vast majority of heroes in the Marvel Universe being an Avenger at some point in their history.
