As the other users said, you usually need an agent to get auditions for productions seen on tv/streaming, and this is just a "legal scam" to get people who don't know any better to give them money. There might be actual agents/producers watching, but they're paid to be there and never sign anyone.

I’ve been trying to do some research and seen people compliment the agency while some people are saying that it is a scam and they got ghosted by the agency once they paid. I’ve even seen people say that they attempted to contact the talent agencies they worked with and got backlashed for it.
